...there was someone selling the brightly colored plastic ones from Pake on e-bay for a while, but I can't fine them any more. I think they stopped making them, but if you can find some they work very well. My main source for a laminated toe strap at an affordable price used to be the leather ones from Performance, but those are also history now. I don't even know who made them for Performance. Those Mikashima's are the best i know of in current production, but I wouldn't want to buy them too often.
