I have an older Rocky Element with the faux bar design and a simple Vanilla Coil shock. Spinning SMOOTH in the saddle It never bobbed. Standing up hammering it did.
Either way, platform damping works so good that swing arm and faux bar designs are competitive again. I test road a new Element with a Fox Propedal shock and the difference was dramatic. Not the same as a 4 bar, but then it's not a 4 bar, is it?
