This question came up a few years ago on Bentrider https://www.bentrideronline.com/mess...d.php?t=116533 Most recumbents that use the 520 wheel use even narrower tires than the one you currently have. There are wider choices for the ISO diameter 507. That's the wheel that uses 1.5 to 2.125 width tires.
