I like fat bikes too.

They have an advantage when you come across sand or mud. A lot of people use them in snow too.

I also like them because I am tall and heavy. The fat bike tires result in the handlebars being higher. They are even higher if you have front suspension. Fat tires also spread the weight out more for heavy people, reducing the likelihood of breaking the wheel.

For people who only ever ride on good roads, who are not tall or heavy, fat bikes can be fun, but regular bikes can do the job.
