francophile I don't think Cinelli made French-size stems, and if they did, you'll have to wait and pay dearly. The time it takes to make a stem fit will not be even an hour. Try it on that $8 stem if you're scared, and then decide if you want to repeat the operation on a nice stem. If you don't, maybe you can use the cheap stem.

$65.50 seems like too much for that Kalloy stem.
