Most of my patients who are lucky enough to be healthy and sharp in their 90’s tell me they are pretty much ready to go when their time comes.
And the others? My dad was a physical and cognitive wreck, but wanted to live long past the point where I think I would have thrown in the towel. I suspect he lacked the capacity to understand how miserable he was!
