Going from NJ to DC (hotels) then on to Pittsburgh via the C&O and GAP (camping) silly question but any chance you remember the tree situation along the rail/canal trails... really want to bring my camping hammock but don't want to have to ride around for miles searching for camping with some trees. Its in August so I do not think I will have to worry about full campgrounds, like I said silly question but you did the trip so recently wouldn't hurt to ask.
