And the cable tension stop for the barcons is a band just above the old downtubers. Obviously no brazed-on stop to keep the band from slipping, so no doubt they had to reef it down onto that carbon tube real tight. Quite the "retrofit"....
May not have had to clamp it very tight at all if they used the down tube levers as the stop to keep it from slipping.
