No, there is no relationship at all. The cassette and crank won't maintain any starting orientation anyway since they aren't geared exactly in phase. The crank arms can go back on the bottom bracket spindle any way you wish as long as you maintain the 180° relationship. The cassette will only fit on the freehub body one way since the splines are keyed.

However, if you take the chainrings off the drive side crank arm they should be reassembled in the original orientation to insure the shaped teeth are in the proper location.
