So many have suggested custom shoes, simply because the money and time we spend finding the right shoe is at least equal to the cost of them. Unfortunately, that process can be as much or more annoying than regular shoe shopping, and I still haven't seen a good looking pair of custom shoes. This being from someone that's happy as a little clam with plain ol black shoes.
Yeah, a lot of the custom shoes that I've seen have been butt-ugly.
As far as colors, even though I haven't ridden in them yet, I was so encouraged when trying on the Lakes yesterday that I had to check their stock on these jobbers -
They have the same CF last as the CX 237x and they're only (ugh, bike **** is stupid
) $150 right now. I would love to have something playful like these after being denied for so long. Unfortunately, not in stock. Sad.
