Bikes: Waterford Paramount Touring, Raleigh Sports 3-speeds in M23 & L23, Schwinn Cimarron oddball build, Marin Palisades Trail dropbar conversion, Nishiki Cresta GT, Jeunet mixte

Raleigh Sports with a Pletscher works fine for me. I understand if you don't like the looks but you can't beat it for utility.
