Got my BTWIN hybrid this week and it's great although i've now noticed a slight ticking sound once during each full pedal, so i took the bike home, put it upside down and spun the wheel and the disk brake or the part it passes through is making a slight rubbing/scratching sound at one part of the disk.

At each full pedal stroke? I'd look at the crank. The crank bolts if it's a square or bottom bracket or pedals or perhaps a warped chainring. I'm not sure why your looking at the wheels/brake rotor if your tracking down a pedal stroke issue.
