Dude - I was browsing through, and thought your picture was me! Enjoy. And I've just started BMX racing in the past year, not really doing much freestyle, but I honestly think for what you're doing the 2.4 are as good or better, and definitely a decent 2.4 is going to be better than a cheaper, thinner tire.
