I bought frame and fork from an individual. It had never been assembled. Fork is Real Design which i believe was a name used on Litespeed forks.

Macalu was a house brand for Excel Sports, out of Boulder, a major dealer for Merlin bikes. The tubeset appears to be similar to an Extralight model, but who welded it is a mystery to me. The model year is from around the time that Litespeed acquired Merlin so this bike is a bit of a mutt. Some Merlin tubes, Litespeed fork, beautifully welded by someone. Came to me at a very attractive price. Assembled with a mixed Campy 10 triple group.

i like it. A lot.
