Sorry I couldn't resist. Ik kann ein betje Nederlands praten.
As a matter of fact, it is pretty quick for what it is - a sturdy bike built for carrying loads. It is definitely not a racing bike, but it is comfortable, and the Maxi-car hubs roll more smoothly than anything I've encountered before, so once you get it up to speed it's relatively easy to maintain that speed. Which makes for surprisingly decent averages in our windy flatlands.
