I've always loved the look of a bike built with a monostay.
Some great frame builders have made them but for whatever reason they don't seem to be very popular as I don't see them very often (if ever) on my rides.
A monostay frame made of steel from "back in the day" before carbon fiber came along is really what I'm thinking about.
Back then with the different levels/grades of steel tubing and different monostay designs I can only imagine that there could be performance differences, or ride characteristics associated with the monostay as opposed to two seatstays.
Who here owns one and has experience with them?
I would love to see pictures of your monostay bike.
