Been away from this forum for a while as I crossed over the the Darkside (the modern MTB world) but the quarantine time has reignited my passion for vintage bikes. My neighbor has had this vintage steel mtb, a Mongoose Switchback. This bike was rode a few time and hung in the barn, and it shows. Even after sitting for so long, the gears, shifters, and brakes work absolutely perfect and everything was indexed. I did a good clean and wash on the bike, added some different bars, added some wider 2.2 Nevengals, and swapped the saddle out.
