Cleaned up and did general maintenance on my primary bicycle over the weekend. Installed a new rack and bottle cage on it Monday. Been wanting to put a rack on it ever since I bought it last year, and finally got around to it.




Getting the rack onto this bike was actually a challenge due to the odd frame design. I couldn't use the caliper brake/rear reflector mounting location as it was to low for the rack's stay arms to reach, and I had to modify the rack's stay arms to reach the mounting posts integrated into the rear of the top tube of the bike frame as they were ever so slightly to high for the rack to otherwise reach. Was kind of a pain, but it turned out great in the end,
