Hey all,

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I just started taking biking more seriously and invested in a new bike, so I’m not completely sure as to what’s normal and what’s not. I recently hit a pretty bad pothole and I want to check if I’ve damaged the front suspension fork. My old bike doesn’t have any suspension so can’t really compare to that. Should I be able to compress the fork by just pushing down on the handlebars? I don’t know if I was able to do this before when the bike was brand new. How can I check for damage? Thanks!
