I came across this' 80s ride bike. The bike was in an old warehouse (photo) and I was very sorry to have it so abandoned.
I got down to work. I bought 2 new retro wheel covers, tubes, a bicycle bell, pedals, removed all the rust by rubbing the fenders a lot with aluminum foil and coke, and changed the brake shoes and cables.
I bought a bike basket on Amazon, and installed it to give it more utility.
After 3 very entertaining afternoons, I managed to clean up this bicycle from 40 years ago, and now it is the bicycle that my wife uses to go shopping, to the pool, etc ...

Old bikes must be given a second chance!
