The bikes are still in the racks for your use if you choose. I've used them a few times to get to my chiropractor appointments. I think of it sort of like a gym membership. You pay up front. It's up to you to make use of it. I rode my own bike yesterday, but I saw plenty of people out on Citibkes. And a lot were in use on the westside greenway over the weekend.
