I don't understand why people are saying don't get suspension. I think the wheels will last longer with suspension. It is important to get a strong bike. I am heavy, but not as heavy as the OP. I like this bike, which I rescued from the trash. I wound the rear suspension up a long way. I raised the handlebars, so I put much less weight on the front suspension. The frame on this bike is strong. I believe the only thing which would break if the OP rode a bike similar to this, would be the spokes in the back wheel. These could be replaced by thicker spokes. Or the wheels could be replaced with stronger wheels.
