Looks like a very nice frame. I've found that Merlin/Litespeed frames can be a bit variable in terms of weld quality (not that it really matters, but you know how Ti owners obsess over weld quality!), ranging from good to very good. But from those close up pics it looks like you got the welder on a good day
The Trek is a Keeper, however thats the main reason for this bike. Seeing as the Trek is now 17 years old, I just don't want to beat it up with daily commutes. It'll still be ridden
I think the frame should be a good fit as well. I had a choice between a 53 or a 55cm. I chose to go 55 just for my goals with this bike.
It is all about the welds with a Ti bike isn't it?
