I am curious if ~10 inches of exposed seatpost would be considered acceptable. The seatpost would be within the guidelines of the minimun insertion mark on the seatpost. Coming over from the darkside (read road) it just seems to be an extreme amount of post showing. I am building up a Trek Fuel and am going with a smaller frame due to standover numbers, etc.

What amount of seatpost do you have exposed?
