Univega Sportour

Hello. New to the forum, but I have found it very useful, so I thought I'd add the serial number of the Univega Sportour I recently acquired and am in the process of cleaning up. The components seem to be original.

Looks to be a model year 1981 (or maybe 1982?). I couldn't find catalogs from either year to figure out the difference between the two.

Chromoly frame/ Made in Japan: J578866 (Miyata manufactured in 1981)

Dia Compe 500G Side Pull Brakes = 0381 (March 1981)

Shimano 600 Arabesque Friction Shifters = FC (March, 1981)
Shimano 600 Arabesque Rear Derailleur = FD (April, 1981)
Shimano 600 Arabesque Front Derailleur = FE (May, 1981)

Araya 27" x 1.25" alloy wheels
Shimano Hubs = FD (April 1981)
Uniglide Cassette (6 speed)

Custom crankset

Univega logo'd Italia saddle
