Not super sure yet. I may also be getting out of the city for the Jersey Shore soon. So that may affect my riding too.
Things have been nutty lately but I don’t have to tell you or anyone else that.
How’re things in Astoria? My grandmother is living there with my uncle and his family.
They say they’re fine in quarantine but I wouldn’t mind your two cents on the situation.
What kinda cycling you getting in over there?
Well I just got my bits to be road worthy - a rear light and and front light, got a little bell, and picked up a pair of riding/commuter trousers that were on sale. So we'll see how I manage. I think I might head out for a little ride today but I am not sure just yet since the rain is pretty serious today. The guy I bought the bike from says he ride up to Nyack once in a while and that is a serious 22 miles one way. I am not sure I can actually pull that off just yet but perhaps one day. I am hoping to use the bike for zipping around the neighborhood for small errands and then maybe I'll work my way up into some serious mileage.
Sorry to hear you are furloughed man, I guess you can at least claim unemployment insurance though right? This crisis is pretty damaging to so many and in so many ways. I hope you're not too disrupted by it all.
Astoria, is great! I love it, always have. I hope it doesn't change too much on me.
