A couple years ago, I encountered this guy towing a fiberglass rhinoceros on the bike path just north of Ventura. He was riding the entire coast from Canada south to bring attention to "Save the Rhinos". A friend of mine also saw him up near Seattle, a few weeks earlier.
Hey! I met up with that guy and had a chance to pull that rhino for a couple miles
I was interning for a fellow who worked in rhino conservation so they somehow had gotten in touch with each other. Grabbed a beer in downtown SD afterwards...good times.
