I wear full finger gloves, old mountain bike habit, protects your fingers better if you go down.

For summer I wear some SmartWool stretchy wool gloves, thin material, not hot. I went down a couple years ago, separated my shoulder, tore big holes in the gloves, I still wear them, holy and all.

I have some lightweight Castelli gloves for shoulder season, and for nasty rain some Castelli neoprene gloves.

I guess none of these are particularly C&V. For Eroica I’d probably get some thin leather gloves, almost like dress gloves.
