It still has a stated weight limit of 300lbs, but that seems to be the max limit on all of Trek's bikes. Being a mountain bike that is rated for 300lbs, I am hoping that it would do fine as I plan to just ride on paved bike paths and roads. I know I should avoid any suspension, but this bike only has front suspension and it can be locked. The wheels have 2.2" wide tires and 32 spokes. I appreciate you all helping me out and putting up with my ignorance!
