I could use some help evaluating the cost of the bike pictured below. I've asked after the history of the bike, its wear and which parts have been replaced and with what, but the owner was unable to provide any information, other than that its in good condition aside from the handlebar tape. They are asking for $250, but when asked if the price was negotiable, said $230 would be the lowest. That seems high to me, but given only that there are cheaper, older bikes, tuned and better cared for, and with the assumption that this isn't a rare find. I'm willing to pay higher for what the bike may ordinarily be worth since it's 59 cm frame fits me well and I'm looking to buy a bike on which I could learn to make repairs and tune too. However, if $230 seems exorbitant for what is offered then I'll wait for a better deal. Thank you!
