Bikes: 2013 Custom SA5w / Rohloff Tourster

I have a usless unused BB7, now fer sale.. I just looked at it, ONE side pad moves. DINOSAUR technology now, plus it's bulkier.

I now have a cable TRP SPYRE with long pull SA levers on a comfort bar. This has been a on 120 lb steel tour bike, Rohloff14 with 203 disc. It can lock on a dime, INSTANTLY. The softer resin pads for sure help. The Spyre costs more but Does MORE too.
I haven't broken a cable in use in 40 years. Just don't reuse the crimped area.
My front brake is a SA dyno DRUM. 24,000 trouble free miles. Perfect combination, IME.
I had a BB5 set for years, what a farce.
