In general, I find that the older I get, the less I'm drawn to jerseys with lettering and other such graphics. The last two I've purchased have been mostly solid color with maybe some subtle pattern or accent colors. The exception would be a jersey from a significant event, such as the one I got after completing the GAP-C&O trail trip from Pittsburgh to D.C.
