I can only echo this plea. I did most of my serious biking in the 80's and 90's. The Bata bikers were such a practical shoe. Light weight, narrow enough to fit easily inside a toe clip, or on an open pedal, and with a really stiff sole. You could bike in them and walk in them. What a huge loss.
