Grease doesn't work. However, after 10 months although I didn't ride over late autumn/winter finally the dealer has fixed mine! New clamp and carbon post, which was an upgrade on the aluminium one supplied with the bike. Thankfully the dealer got all this covered under warranty as he was unable to fix the problem, using the original aluminium post.
