All I can say about the Thudbuster is they really do make a difference. There are 2 versions, I have the LT (long travel) version. It gives you 3 inches of suspension travel for the seat. It doesn't pogo up and down and I don't ever really even notice it as it doesn't interfere with my riding but it DOES soak up bumps quite well. To get the most from it you need to "tune it" by setting up the elastomers that come with it for your body weight and riding style. You can go from super cushy to very stiff. I love it and will never be without one now on an unsuspended bike.
