Personally, I suspect I'm like Amt0571. I install my personal bike ires whichever way I think looks best. For practical purposes, other than mountain biking over big rocks, I think that it's real easy to overstate the importance of bicycle tire tread.
+1. Front also needs better traction for stopping which is reverse of the rear which needs traction for pushing forward. Having said that looking at the tread pattern of OP's tires I doubt you would notice the difference either way. Myself, being an anal type, would probably not be able to sleep at night with them mounted the wrong way.
