I think one of the prettiest bonded frames were the first generation Specialized Allez Epic.

The second generation Epic, without Allez in the title, is pretty sharp looking too, and maybe a pound lighter thanks to shorter internal spuds and carbon fiber progress.

The full paint job sealed the joints against water and air, and makes the bike able to pass for very light steel.
There aren't any material decals on mine, and I think it was a reaction to having to sell lugged carbon against Trek's full carbon 5200 after '92!

These were built by Giant, and I think it's the same bike as the early Giant Cadex, but the shaped lugs really do make it look better.
