I'm not hating because Puma is Big Biz. I'm hating cuz they're half-assed. If puma really gave a rats ass about fixed gear/track riding, they'd sell a real bike, not some slingshot/brompton/integrated cablelock ripoff POS. A super-ltd edition lugged frame with sick paint. Give that thing away as an alleycat prize, proceeds from the race going to the emergency messenger fund.

If they were the least bit serious, they'd come out with a decently stiff pair of shoes and a rain jacket. But no. Sweatshopped leisurewear as far as the eye can see.

Cultural poaching will always be part of the corporate toolkit. Puma just sucks at it.
cultural poaching? get off your fücking high horse. repairing the surface at kissena is about the best thing anyone could do for track cycling in this city. far more beneficial for the sport than giving some messenger a fancy bicycle
