The food didn't get bad until the south. Not all of it but they seemed more geared toward quantity instead of quality.
The Virginian? Food wasn't bad there, not great, but I'd eat their open face hot roast beef sandwich again, and again.
We also tried the bar a couple blocks west, but their food wasn't as good. They did have some odd art on the ceiling, so worth it to drop in for a drink or two and look up for a while.
Rock Springs did have a LOT of OK Chinese joints. And three good Mexican joints that we ate at a lot.
One of the "Chinese" places also made other Asian foods. I guess because there was no Thai or Vietnamese restaurants in town. Their non-Chinese offerings were meh.
Anong's in Cheyenne was really good Thai, and they also have Rawlins and Laramie locations.
