How I was able to guess that my battery was dead was when I was able to get it to work when plugged in.

With it plugged in, I was able to do a master reset, then turn on the light and record. I was also able to connect to it through the app and it reported 100% battery charge (ha!). While running the unit and recording, I unplug it and it immediately died.

​​Sounded​​​​ like a dead battery to me. From there I proceeded to fix it by voiding the expired warranty as detailed in my previous post.
