I had a Peugeot Sport Computer. When it came out, it was probably the smallest one available, about the size of a cassette tape. The mount was offset, so you could clamp the bracket on one side of your stem and have the computer centered on your bars. The two AA batteries seemed to last forever. The response time was a little slow. It only updates after several seconds of input, but for tracking distance, trip time, and average speed it did a good job. If I found a working one, I would probably buy it to add to one of my bikes as a period correct accessory.
