New One for me, sheared off crank spindle

Among the bike donations last week was this one, the NDS spindle was sheared off. It did not show any signed of being cut, it looked like it snapped.

The rest of the bike was pretty decent looking so it got moved over to the "To Be Repaired" pile rather then the dismantle and scrap.

This was a first for me, went through our salvage parts and found a proper size replacement spindle and a set of crank arms with the same gear tooth count and a set of pedals. Work on it begins tomorrow..
