Some context on what kind of riding you want to do will be helpful. Look is more of a climbing bike, where the Trek is an Endurance frame designed to be comfortable for long rides or rough pavement.
This will be my first road bike. Where I live, I’ve been told we have nice roads. It’s a good mixture of hilly, not that flat but also not that severe in slope. That’s my primary but would like the flexibility of gravel, just in case.
