Part of my commute is through a somewhat busy rural street, really dark. A car coming from the opposite direction switched from high beams to low beams as other cars passed, then put the high beams as I was passing. BTW my ride was great. At the beginning of the week I switched from clipless to platform pedals with no clips and no straps: basic. Also gave up on mirrors. I really enjoy my back to basics commute
