And while I realize there is vast change circling all it entails, we're still here doing what we love because of all that came before, good, bad and ugly.

Like some of my bike projects, our American republic is still very much a work in progress, with it's own strengths and flaws, but still worth doggedly chipping away at with a sense of cautious optimism, attempting improvements.
