Another source is your local coop, if you have one near. Used RD often have the hanger attached.
Not only is there a nut and bolt that fits in the DO (prevents the RD from falling off the frame when removing the wheel), but it may be in a slot allowing you to rotate the hanger, kinda like a b screw. Watch out which RD you choose wrt the freewheel/cassette. They may come in different lengths between the DO slot and the RD mounting hole. The combination of this dimension and the distance of between the mounting bolt and the first pivot may be too short or between the two pivot points. I had this issue trying to replace the Simplex RD with a Suntour VX Luxe on a Raleigh GP Mixte. Both had this hanger but they have different dimensions.
