Epic Climbs

Hi All,
I'm relatively new to cycling (1.5 years), however I realized that what I really enjoy is preparing for and riding challenging climbing routes. I live in an area with good hills, so I'm currently doing 10k-15k ft of elevation change per week with my 2 weekly rides. Of the epic climbs I have only done "Pico de las Nieves" in Gran Canaria, Spain last fall. However, this took me 6 hours and a bit of cramping last 5 km. A bit understandable given my lack of training at the time.

I'm planning on finishing the following in the next 6 months;

1. Mount Evans, CO. USA
2. Pikes Peak, CO. USA
3. Trail Ridge, CO. USA
4. Alto de Letras, COLOMBIA

Can users post their experiences preparing for these type of epic climbs. (I have hydration and nutrition dialed in) ?

Thanks
