Question: When is a fixie not a real fixie
Answer: When you are too lazy to remove the shifters!
This one could be saved but at that price? And the flat tires? And $300 and can't clean it? Italics are mine.

Nishiki road bike, small frame, meant for someone 5’6” to 5’10” maybe. The seat is ripped, the frame is dirty and scratched up. The tires are flat and the bars need new wrap. The bike is very light weight, it has fixed speed wheels (fixie). The crank and rear brake is exage motion. Made in Japan. The bike needs a good bath. Yes it’s still for sale, I’ll remove the ad the minute it’s sold. I’m not answering anymore questions . This is for restoration.
but wait!!
There is more.
Seller has another ad and a very touching one too

Ad copy:
Help me get my teenager interested in something that doesn’t require an internet connection. Looking for free bicycles either complete or in need of some attention. If it’s a project even better. I can pick it up, if you’re throwing it out I’ll take it. I’m willing to pay for old school BMX bikes/parts.
