It's been a slog but the bike is finally built. I know I know... I'm teasing without pics but it's late!

With no weight weenie parts anywhere in sight, save for a thomson masterpiece seatpost I've had for the last 12 years... The bike comes in at just above 22 lbs. My goal was to have this bike under 20, so I'm going to swap over my 'nice' wheels tomorrow to see how big of a difference that makes. Should knock off a pound if not a hair more.

I've been working on two builds over the last few weeks. This and my 'regular' road bike. Goal for that bike was sub 18 lbs and for this is sub 20. This one has shimano 5800 and the 'regular' bike has R7000. Neither are light groupsets so I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised.

All that said... I can't wait to get out on this thing. Hopefully tomorrow or weds!
