Agreed.

I lived in St. Paul and St. Louis Park years back. Great city for biking. The metro area is very large geographically compared to a lot of cities. You can live in St. Paul or Minneapolis proper pretty comfortably

Both cities have extensive multi use path systems, as well as well marked bike lanes throughout. Even most suburbs have a decent route or bike path to downtown. I'm sure there's much more since I moved in 1999.
